Jack Trainer is a solo artist in the truest sense who plays every instrument on his debut studio album, ‘Knitting Club Every Monday Night’. A prolific songwriter and performer from a leafy suburb of Cheshire, Jack Trainer fuses contemporary creativity with pop sensibility. His music offers a fresh and uplifting sound for 2012.

First attracted to learn saxophone at the age of nine, music for Jack was initially a love-hate relationship that saw him turned off by teachers and walking out of lessons. However, by his early teens he had developed an obsession for writing, recording and playing instruments. ‘A’ Level Music introduced Jack to music theory and he was fascinated as he studied the compositions of Mozart, Berlioz, Mendelssonn and Wagner. Having progressed his craft as a performer in a variety of bands and graduated with a 2:1 degree in ‘Popular Music and Recording’ from Salford University, Jack Trainer is a unique talent and most definitely one to watch.
